Business Analyst - Large B2C client

Our Client's commercial finance team has an opportunity for a Business Analyst to join their team on a 6-month fixed-term contract with the potential to go permanent or move within the organization onto a bigger role . Reporting to the Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for the accounting, analysis and reporting of the commercial division you look after.

Description

• Month-end report preparation

• Preparation of Quarterly Dashboard accounts as required

• Identify and drive areas of improvement by performing analyses and reports, as well as define potential action plan

• Be an ambassador for a profitability mindset through strong leadership skills: inspiration, delegation, follow-up and motivation

•  Deliver cost effective and high-quality service to stakeholders

• Build and foster professional relationships with all internal stakeholders

• Provide information and advice in a timely manner

• Support the Senior Business Analyst in the presentation of annual budgets, audited financial statements and annual management meeting

• Preparation of long-term forecasts and business plans, evaluating profitability and performance

Profile

The client is looking for someone with the following:

• Solid experience working on performance and efficiency improvement projects

• Good commercial management experience

• Vast financial modelling experience

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and technical post-grad qualifications, CA/CPA qualified.

• Prior experience in the B2C industry

• Preparation of long-term forecasts and business plans, evaluating profitability and performance

• Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organisation and with suppliers

• Experience in working effectively within a large, multidivisional and complex environment
