Description

Reporting to the divisional Finance Manager, your role as Assistant Financial Accountant will be responsible for:

• Assisting in the production of monthly financial accounts (P&L, balance sheet)

• Reconciling bank accounts and maintaining cash books

• Intercompany, general ledger and nominal ledger reconciliations

• Closing off AP ledgers at month end

• Managing cash flow on a daily and weekly basis

Profile

The Assistant Financial Accountant role requires someone who is:

• AAT qualified or part qualified CIMA/ACCA

• A graduate with placement experience will also be considered

• Strong analytical skills and able to work to an intermediate level on Excel

• Excellent communication skills

• Great work ethic with a desire to learn and progress
