Site Accountants-Alex

This position will utilize resources of the CBS FSS Site lead and have responsibility for overall site related items including budgeting for site costs and facilitating a process across functions for the review of actual spend and billing/allocation across functions, purchasing and capital commitments for the site. The position may also participate in global functional initiatives as required
Principal Accountabilities
Support normal, required finance/fiduciary responsibilities for the CBS organization including:
• Coordination and communication of the site budgets and allocations with the global CBS function, CBS Site Function Leads, and other Function Controllers.
• Monitoring of site budget to actual expense and coordination of other function budgets as needed.
• Collaboration and effective engagement with respective Finance leaders and controllers and corporate centres of expertise on fiduciary matters.
• Be an integral part of the Site Leadership team, proactively providing Finance expertise and solutions utilizing the local FSS leadership and team.
• Actively participate and support major projects and initiatives from a financial perspective.
Ensuring internal control systems that provide effective and efficient site operations; reliable financial reporting; and compliance with laws (Tax/SEZ/Other), regulations and corporate policies and minimums are in place. Examples include but are not limited to site security, COSO, RIM, Site VP Reviews.
Hold self and others accountable for continuous improvement and aggregating results of improvements. Research & implement industry best practices in value measurement for the overall site.
