Our client, a well known & growing business based in Guildford is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their Accountancy team

Description

Assistant Accountant - Guildford

  • Month end reporting
  • Preparation of journals and other supporting workings for review by the Management Accountant.
  • Performing balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Preparing the accruals and prepayments schedules.
  • Maintaining the fixed asset registers.
  • Preparing and reconciling intercompany recharges.
  • Liaising with AP team to continually improve system information and ensure accuracy of our records.
  • Assisting the Management Accountant with financial analysis.
  • Assisting the Financial Controller and CFO with ongoing projects and other financial analysis.

Profile

A successful candidate will have experience with the above & will ideally be studying CIMA/ACCA/AAT

Job Offer

Salary £25,000 - £30,000
