Assistant Accountant

My client a Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain business based in Ponders End, in Enfield are looking for a progressive, studying Assistant Accountant to join their team.

This is a new position that has been created due to the growth of the UK arm of this business. As an international group they have offices in other locations and countries but expansion in the UK is a top priority for them currently. As a result this role has been created.

Description

Some of the duties the successful Assistant Accountant will be charged with are:

• Assisting in Month End Accounts Production
• Finance Analysis
• Intercompany Account Reconciliations
• Full accounts production for clients
• VAT Returns
• Helping out with VAT Returns
• Assisting with Payroll
• Using Coda

Profile

The successful Assistant Accountant Profile will be:

• Studying their ACCA or planning to in the near future
• Comfortable using microsoft excel
• Happy in a role that is varied and will touch on lots of different parts of finance
• Able to fit into a friendly working environment
• Able to display a couple of years experience
