My client is a bio-pharma company and aims for IPO in Hongkong.Their product is very competitive in oncology related area and will be approved by government this year. It is a good timeline for the company to invite a CFO with Investment banking background candidates join.

Description

The CFO will lead the IPO process, heavily involved in business strategy. He/she will work closely with the top management team as well as investors to drive funding and manage investor relations by presenting the business performance and reporting thoroughly. The CFO will manage the finance team and ensure sound risk/compliance processes are in place.

Profile

Ideal candidate:

The successful candidates are ideally coming from a healthcare/ biotech industry with solid experience reporting into BOD and CEO, and working with R&D and Scientists.

Candidates coming from investment bank with relevant track record in healthcare/ biotech IPO also welcomed.

The ideal CFO should also:

*Possess sound knowledge in New York/Hong Kong Listing Rules, takeover code, and funds management

*Have a well-established banking and investor network & relationship

*Be commercially savvy with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills

*Have the ability to work in a start-up environment and be hands-on when necessary

*Fluency in written and spoken Chinese preferred but not mandatory.
