Our client is an international asset management house with an unparalleled reputation across the Asia Pacific region. With the continued growth of the organization, the need has arisen to recruit high calibers to join them.

Support Team Lead on identifying and initiating projects to promote effective collaboration, as well as manage regular reporting and operation more effectively across the region. This will lead to the opportunity for structural change in the finance function which will enable outsourcing and efficiency. Drive to standardize across all companies within the region and build required databases and interfaces. Lead opportunities for the business to drive efficiencies through a common approach, and harness best-in-class finance tools and systems to ensure we maximize accuracy, reporting standards and efficiency. Build MIS reports for regional business. Improve consistency, granularity and completeness of financial and non-financial data. Facilitate planning process to ensure budget information is properly captured and reported. Leverage global systems and reporting model to meet regional business needs. Propose and implement changes where required. Implement and rollout global accounting and reporting solutions in the region. Coordinate with business controllers in Asia in the Wealth and Asset Management area to feed and verify financial data and reports. Standardize finance work process across the region to improve business performance visibility. Advocate and reinforce corporate reporting standard and guidelines. Promote consistency and efficiency in the flow of financial information end-to-end. Enhance collaboration with off-shore team on operations and reporting. Identify opportunities to bring in new technology and systems to increase effectiveness of finance team. Execute this successfully

To be considered, you should be a degree holder with a minimum of 12 years' experience in finance. Track record of driving technical operational efficiencies in finance in a comparable organization. Influence across the region at all levels. Effective at driving success in diverse geographies in the region. Knowledge and experience in asset management, IT processes and investment operations. Excellent analytical and technical skills. Able to adapt to fast changing and ambiguous environment. Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking. Demonstrated capability of initiative and commitment. Solid interpersonal and communication skills in English and Chinese. Detailed-oriented and able to work under pressure. Proficiency in Hyperion-Essbase, Sun Account/Vision and Excel VBA programming
