The opportunity

We areinterested in speaking with Audit professionals at the Associate andSenior Associate level to join our Assurance teams across our offices inAustralia. Theseopportunities are offered on a flexible full-time basis. You'll help ourclients meet their reporting requirements by accurately reporting on financialstatements and providing meaningful insights into accounting and reportingmatters. Your key responsibilities
  • Leading fieldwork, managing performance,coaching and mentoring more junior team members and keeping engagement leadersupdated on audit engagements
  • Effectively managing Audit processes withappropriate consideration of audit risk issues and accounting technicalmatters, including revenue, financial instruments and income taxes
  • Engaging clients and providing advice andprofessionalism throughout transactions, including identification of areas forimprovement in clients' business processes
  • Constantly developing your understanding ofcurrent market trends and processes and sharing your knowledge to developjunior colleagues
  • Understanding our clients' unique ambitionsand needs and referring them to colleagues in other teams and areas to broadenour business relationships where possible
  • Expertise in accounting frameworks (IFRS) andin related financial reporting matters.

Skills and attributes for success
  • Proven experience in delivering external auditand assurance engagements
  • Experience leading the planning, execution andreporting on audits
  • Proven track record with developing andmaintaining client relationships
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skillsand a collaborative approach to management

Ideally, you'll also have
  • Expertise in accounting frameworks (IFRS) andin related financial reporting matters
  • A strong academic record, including a degreeand progress towards/completion of CA or any CA ANZ affiliated qualification

Regarding this role, the minimum salary for hires at the Senior Associate rank is $75,500 AUD including 9.5% superannuation.
