Position Summary:
The APAC Sustainable Finance Manager is a sustainability professional with robust knowledge and experience that is dedicated to carve out more market opportunities with the direction and guidance from APAC Sustainability Leader.
Essential Functions of the Job:
Working with regional leads on plansCollating and reporting on sales and pipeline from major makers /service lines/sectorsPreparing materials for internal Global leadership meetings and regional meetingsSupporting Sustainability leader to coordinate with focal points in different markets in the region on regular basisSupporting the build out of solution componentsWorking with Global BMC on internal and external communications, including webcasts and thought leadershipDevelopment of training for all markets and levelsResponding to requests for materialsUpdating Discover page Analytical Responsibilities:
Consulting with clients, focal points and external stakeholders on CCaSS services, including sustainability-series bonds, technical sustainability reporting and advisory capabilitiesCollaborating with partners & clients to influence strategy, balancing risk and client expectations with the consideration of inherited-market characteristics for different countries in terms of sustainable developmentEnsuring our engagement team thoroughly understands our clients’ unique needs, ambitions and expectationsBuilding relationships with external stakeholders and key focal points across multiple service lines and market to carve out engagement opportunitiesManaging performance and identifying opportunities to improve our products and processes Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
Fluent in English – written and verbalExcellence in Microsoft office software, especially on PowerPoint presentation Familiar in green, social land sustainability bonds assurance and ESG advisory services is a plusKnowledge on SDGs impact assessment and emission reduction calculation is a plus Able to work in a self-sufficient manner, operating across multiple projects and prioritiesSynthesizes and communicates detailed information in support of an effective decision-making processDemonstrates the ability to apply a forward-thinking client focused lens to developing business solutionsDrives interactions that build trust and manage expectations with all stakeholdersDemonstrates the ability to challenge assumptions and decisions in an appropriate mannerDemonstrates appreciation and respect of varying cultures – both corporate and geographical Supervision Responsibilities:
While there are no direct supervision responsibilities associated with this role, the successful candidate is dependent upon leveraging other members of the global and regional sustainability community to drive effective business solutions across APAC. Education:
Completion of a four year college degree (e.g. Bachelor’s degree) is required to perform this position, graduate level education and or professional certification of energy, environment, climate change and sustainability is recommended Experience:
