We are seeking suitably qualified senior associates to join the Assurance line of service. You will be involved in providing assurance services to our portfolio of local clients, ranging from SMEs to large prominent organisations and esteemed brand names. You will be responsible for the execution of audit engagements and leading audit teams during the audit fieldwork. In addition, you will have the opportunity to provide a variety of non-assurance services to our clients.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
• Planning, directing and completing statutory audits
• Developing, assigning and supervising audit staff
• Reviewing financial statements and related technical accounting issues
• Work closely with partners and staff on client management and practice development
Skills and Attributes
• Recognised Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent
• Professional Accounting qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, ACA or equivalent is an advantage and highly desirable
• Those who are currently pursuing a recognised Professional Accounting qualification are also encouraged to apply
• Strong technical accounting skills with proficiency with MPERS as well as ISA
• Ability to supervise audit staff and lead engagements
• Good client service and communication skills with a demonstrated, including strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, results-based team environment
• Build rapport and collaborate effectively with others, creating a positive team environment
• Good leadership, recruiting, training and mentoring skills, coupled with good verbal, written and presentation skills
• Excellent analytical, organizational and project management skills
• Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work additional hours as and when needed and travel to various client sites
• 3 to 5 years of progressive audit experience
