Consultant-Financial Services Accenture's Financial Services workforce is involved in business consulting, process design work and the application of technologies to business. Working as part of our high performing teams on key client sites, the successful candidate will need to apply their skills across a wide array of disciplines including business process design, organisational change and operating model transformation. In addition, our consultants provide leading project and programme management experience to our clients, supporting them with the executing and delivering of their transformative business agendas. Our consultants worked closely with their clients, building relationships and communicating effectively with client of varying seniority levels. The role requires strong written and verbal communication skills, and an ability to demonstrate strong relationship management skills. Key Responsibilities Working within project teams to support clients deliver their project objectives Working with a team to define a business solution that may include defining business architecture, process design and delivery activities whilst driving the development of improved capabilities Executing core consulting and project management activities such as gap analysis, requirements gathering, functional specifications, risk/issue management, project planning etc. Facilitating teams and supporting workshops / meetings across multiple phases of the project delivery lifecycle Working within multidisciplinary teams across both business and technology to execute project deliverables Be able to demonstrate credibility to work alongside/with client SME's and team leaders Developing trusted relationships with clients, target clients and internal experts as part of project delivery Understanding and representing Accenture's Banking capabilities with clients and acting as a trusted partner Helping to build an understanding of our clients' business and challenges and participating in identifying solutions for their business needs within the Accenture Banking team Working with blended client and Accenture project teams and helping to establish working relationship within a team environment. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of Project Management experience Minimum 2:1 undergraduate degree, or equivalent Preferred Skills: Knowledge of various project management methodologies: waterfall, lean, agile Team Lead skills an advantage Experience in stakeholder management and workshop facilitation an advantage Knowledge of the Financial Services Industry an advantage Professional Skill Requirements: An ability to articulate and clearly communicate complex problems and solutions in a simple, logical and impactful manner. Experience eliciting high-level business requirements and creating detailed functional specs and other documentation, such as requirement traceability matrices, work-flow diagrams and use-cases The ability to develop creative and breakthrough solutions. Strong interpersonal, team building, organizational and motivational skills. Experience working through organizational change, with a demonstrated track record of continuing responsibilities, creativity and innovation, including evidence of solution design. Well-developed analytical skills and the ability to provide clarity to complex issues, and synthesize large amounts of information. An ability to identify the root causes of issues by analysing patterns and trends. An awareness of key methodologies, approaches and market trends in the industry. Experience managing projects end-to-end in the delivery cycle and an understanding of the requirements and deliverables at each stage Ability to prioritise and effectively manage time in a pressurised work environment Self-motivating, adaptable and able to inspire and motivate others.
