This role will be hired for Sunway New Joint-Venture with Intrepid Asia, to be based in Intrepid Malaysia New Office.

The role
  • The Finance Accountant is responsible for the preparation of financial and accounting reports of Intrepid Malaysia. The key activities of Financial Accountant are:
  • Responsible for the reporting and accounting submissions of the following regulations (MAS, FRF, IFRS, Accounting management reports, tax declaration reports);
  • Monitor and Record accounting transaction and issue invoice;
  • Prepare weekly/monthly Cash flow and monthly Financial Report;
  • Coordinate with other departments for Forecast/Budget and other Add-hoc report;
  • Working with Tax authorities, Auditors on financial-accounting related matters;
  • Developing policies and regulations on the management of financial and accounting activities at the Company.
Who we look for - the ideal profile?
  • At least 3-4 years Finance & accounting experience, with existing experience in retail and inventory management accounting;
  • Strong communication skills in English and another Asian language
  • Experienced in budget management and cash flow
  • Existing experience in IFRS reporting is a plus.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines, plan personal workload and delegate effectively
  • Beyond hard skills, team player, collaborative, fun, passionate, entrepreneurial and eager to work in a young and fast-growing environment
  • Ability to inspire confidence and create trust with stakeholders
  • Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
