Description

Reporting to the Financial Controller your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Monthly, quarterly global financial reporting
  • Fixed Assets processing and maintenance transactions
  • Ensure compliance with capitalisation policy
  • Maintaining and updating of fixed asset, capitalisation and work in progress policies and processes
  • Ownership of monthly processes and maintenance of all fixed asset registers
  • Clean up of asset registers in accordance with policy
  • Review WIP with stakeholders such as IT, Property and Private label
  • Compliance with labour capitalisation processes for IT and Property
  • Ensure adequacy and consistency of depreciation rates in line with policy
  • Completion of all account reconciliations
  • Support year end audit process and other external reporting requirements
  • Preparation of monthly management results within reporting deadlines
  • Assist in Reporting and Analysis
  • Assist in annual budget processes in collaboration with other stakeholders
  • Profile

    The successful candidate will be CPA or CA qualified or nearing qualification and have the following requirements:

    • Process improvement mindset and capabilities including being able to streamline functions
    • Proven communication skills working with multiple different non financial stakeholders
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, motivated and hardworking
    • Detailed problem solving and analytical skills
    • Advanced Excel skills
