Tax Compliance Center Specialist

As a Tax Specialist you will be responsible for:

• Tax compliance including Corporate Income Tax and VAT: Coordinating the preparation of tax compliance with service provider, and alignment on information and data requests
• Liaising with and support the central tax team on a regular basis in the areas of Tax and VAT Compliance, Tax Accounting and Transfer Pricing
• Verifying, communicating and implementing legislative changes within the region
• Quarterly/annual income tax accounting reporting within the region including: tax reporting within the Hyperion financial system
• Harmonization of processes and procedures within the Tax Compliance Centre
• Supporting SSC teams in ad hoc questions
• Supporting corporate projects in the area of taxes

Required qualifications:

• Academic background in accounting or economics
• Very good knowledge of accounting and taxes, especially VAT
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in accounting and tax
• Strong command of English (written & oral)
• Strong analytical skills
• Eye for detail & accuracy
• Good communication skills
• Ability to build relationship with internal & external client
• Willingness to take responsibility for assigned tasks / drive for results
• Willingness to propose improvements within own processes

Desired qualifications:

• Experience in VAT/CIT compliance for multinational company
• Experience in working for multinational company in a SSC/BPO/international environment
• SAP knowledge
• Accounting knowledge
• Additional language(s) would be beneficial
