Hays are extremely excited to be working with a fast growing healthcare organisation based in Barnsley who are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join there Finance Team.
Your new role
Your role will primarily be Purchase Ledger work, inputting invoices and checking supplier statements. Matching transactions to sales and working with the Head of Finance to distinguish pre-payments and monthly accruals. However, once established and comfortable further responsibilities will be passed down from the Head of Finance leading to further development and progression within the organisation.
What you'll need to succeedYou will have great excel and Sage knowledge as testing will be done at interview stage, Sage 200 preferably. Attention to detail is key and the ability to prioritise your workload to meet the changing needs of the business. We are looking for an excellent communicator who has the skills to hit the ground running whilst putting our customer at the heart of all they do.
