An opportunity has arisen for a Financial Controller to join a rapid-growth SME property services company based in central London.

My client is a private owner-managed luxury real-estate services company based in central London.
Description
Managing a team of 2 qualified accountants, the Financial Controller will play a key role in contributing to the companies financial strategy and will be involved in a range of activities including:
- Designing and implementing best practice financial processes, quality reporting procedures and structures
- Delivering insightful and accurate financial information to stakeholders to enable effective decision making
- Overseeing the day-to-day financial and accounting operations of the Company and group Companies around the world.
- Ensuring robust financial controls, processes and procedures are in place and operating to the highest possible standards
- Providing leadership, direction and management to the finance team (currently two qualified management accountants)
- Supporting the Finance Director to develop and implement a financial strategy that both capitalises on opportunities for efficiency gains and reduces risk
- Ensuring that monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports are available for the Board and the Senior Management Team
- Forecasting and managing cash and working capital positions to maintain financial stability across international entities and projects, managing any currency risks that may exist
- Supporting the Finance Director in agreeing budgets and approach to forecasting spend
Profile
The successful Financial Controller will have the following credentials:
- Audit/public practice trained qualified accountant
- Approximately 5 years PQE
- Experience of financial/management reporting within SMEs (any sector is fine but with a slight preference for real estate and property/construction)
- Line management skills desirable but not essential
- Ability to adapt to change and re-prioritise quickly
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
Job Offer
Basic salary of between £70,000 to £80,000 + benefits
