Progressive and exciting Assistant Financial Accountant role supporting a large team based in Cannock.
Client Details
Large and well established Organisation based in Cannock, looking to expand their function with an Assistant Financial Accountant.
Description
Working as the Assistant Financial Accountant, key responsibilities will consist of the following:
- Ensure the accurate management of the UK Group's centralised asset processes, including fixed assets, leases and capital expenditure, plus reporting of Group fixed assets.
- Adhere to company policies, finance policies, processes, procedures and timetables
- Balance Sheet reconciliation and justification for asset related accounts
- Maintain CapEx Request Platform and transfer data to SAP
- Process asset commissioning, acquisitions, transfers, disposals, lease postings etc. through SAP
- Create asset records and validate within the SAP System
- All other reporting for own contracts
- Participate in move from current ERP system (SAP) to Workday
Profile
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- Preferably part qualified ACCA (F1-9 done) or CIMA Accountant (Management Level complete)
- Accuracy is key, as is an organised approach and the ability to manage several coterminous tasks
- Strong interpersonal skills are required to liaise confidently with other parts of the Business
- An awareness of how to produce related Financial and Statutory asset notes
- Knowledge of SAP or Fixes Asset Software is advantageous
