IPS Finance is looking to recruit a talented qualified business partner with Operations experience, this will ideally have been gained in a shared service, call centre or similar environment.
The role is to join a listed employer and market leader. We are looking for an ambitious, high performing qualified accountant, this is a fast paced, highly commercial business that offers career progression and senior interaction across the whole spectrum of finance activities.
The postholder will report into the Head of FP&A and will be a key business partner role to the COO in helping to drive the future strategy of the operations function of the UK business. Experience in operations is key whether this is with a businesses partnering role from a call centre, shared service centre or similar environment proving direct customer support.
As business partner you will have a major impact on commercial decisions, creating value through sitting on the change board, assessing business cases and holding the business to account on benefit realisation. You will deliver a range of finance projects for the UK Senior Management. In particular, supporting on initiatives looking at tactical and strategic cost opportunities. There will be responsibility for the monthly performance analysis of the UK expense base and you will project manage the submission of overall UK expense reforecasts and budgets.
The role will suit a strategic thinker who will challenge the status quo and who has the ability to communicate complex financial problems to a number of different audiences. You will be a strong communicator who can be persuasive and has the leadership qualities to influence at all levels
