Costing Accountant - Famous Chemical Company

Hi All, I am helping my client now looking for a costing & reporting accountant based in their Shanghai office.

Client Details

A chemical manufacturing company with long history of producing chemical raw materials. Headquarter in Europe and with over thousands of employees worldwide.

Description

Generate balance sheet with supporting details and distribute twice per week and final for each month end;
Monthly MOR reporting of all BU's accounting, including forecast. Work with Sr. Analyst and Supply Chain on forecasts of BU's working capital and OSP costs;
Participate in weekly BU's meetings, gain insight on updates to monthly forecast;
Monthly account reconciliations of BU's accounts. Identify issues and work with IT and other departments to resolve;
Refining revenue recognition (IFRS 15) periodic adjustments;
Prepare semi-annual FA Pack-BU's sections, assist with updating/maintaining costing models, in particular for refining;
Maintain documentation of processes in Intelex system;
Coordinate with auditing issues;
Database like cost element / cost centre maintenances;
Policies and procedures update;
Follow company EHS management rules and active participate in safety inspection, training and meeting.

Profile

University Degree in Accounting or other related disciplines
Min 6 yrs experiences in accounting in manufacturing industry
Solid Finance & Accounting background, Having advanced accounting certificates.
Attention to details is critical
Excellent Excel and presentation skills
Have ERP experience (SAP is preferred)
Good command of English
