This position would suit someone with an auditing background, looking to move into Tax or someone from Tax looking for further progression and development.

Your responsibilities will include assisting with the compliance requirements of a number of owner managed businesses and their proprietors and the preparation of company tax returns, partnerships tax returns and personal tax returns, with a view to take on your own portfolio and manage your own client relationships.

Assisting with tax planning for business owners and high net worth individuals with a view to build your knowledge and experience.

DAY TO DAY (KEY) RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Managing a portfolio and assisting other staff members with personal, partnership and company tax returns to include monitoring of billing and work in progress
  • Involvement in general tax planning issues such as remuneration planning and day to day tax advice
  • Assisting colleagues with high level tax planning with a view to develop your knowledge and experience over time.
  • To liaise proactively with clients
  • To assist in marketing business taxation services

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Qualified or part qualified ACCA, ACA or ATT, or qualified by experience

At least 2 years' experience in accountancy background
