Exclusive to Michael Page, This well established, successful and highly reputable accountancy practice, based in is looking to recruit an experienced Payroll Administrator or Manager with the responsibility to service the delivery of payrolls to a wide ranging client base. You will take on the hands on management and delivery of payroll services to your clients, as a key addition to this growing firm.

Client Details

The firm is well established, based in New Ash Green . The Partners and Directors are supported by a team of wide ranging and experienced professionals and acts for very varied clients ranging from small sole traders with turnovers from under the VAT threshold to a much larger core client range of limited company OMBs, SMEs and larger corporate clients across wide ranging industry sectors.


Joining as a Payroll Administrator / Manager based in the firms offices in New Ash Green , you will be responsible for the delivery of payroll services (weekly / fortnightly, 4 weekly/monthly / annual ) to a varied and wide ranging payroll client base, dealing with queries and advice clients on technical issues and assist with new client payroll implementations.

You will undertake processing and act as initial point of contact for these clients and develop relationship with these clients. You will carve a pivotal role within the firms payroll department and progress in your career, with increasing responsibility. The opportunity and firm offers the right candidate a genuine chance to progress and develop within their payroll career.

The role will also encompass CIS returns and the opportunity to get involved in VAT and other adhoc work subject to experience and interest. Training will be provided as necessary.

They currently use Moneysoft but are open to changing to a different software provider.


You will have a career background in payroll, as an experienced payroll administrator. You will have ideally experience gained within either an accountancy practice or bureau environment, with demonstrable experience of dealing with varied, multiple payrolls and have specialised in payroll, with at least 2 -4 years experience or ideally more , specialising within the payroll field and be looking to further your career, joining a successful and growing payroll department, where you can develop and progress.

Job Offer

£25,000 - circa £30,000 dependent on your experience and background, plus benefits, negotiable.

Office based with screens and relvant Covid 19 precautions in place to ensure staff safety.
