Your responsibilities:

• Reviewing the daily IPV for fair value position and make sure that it’s in line with the overall policy
• Preparing statutory accounts for various SOVs and legal entities and have them audited before the final submission to the regulators
• Liaising with various external auditors, middle office, front office, tax, credit and clients where appropriate
• Managing and supervising the IPV process for the trading portfolio, looking at a variety of products mainly for derivatives such as futures, forwards, interest rate derivatives, inflation derivatives, currency and exotic options or structured products
• Managing the calculation of bid offer reserves, Day 1 reserves and valuation adjustments, as well as overseeing prudential valuation calculation and reporting
• Providing analysis and production of the intra-month profit and loss and third-party balances to make sure drivers are investigated and understood
• Maintaining standard controls at an exemplary level, ensuring that reporting is timely and accurate

Our requirements:

• Experience in finance, banking or audit
• The ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
• Demonstrable commitment to achieving targets and meeting deadlines
• Experience of influencing others, and the ability to collaborate closely with a range of stakeholders
• An active appreciation of general financial control concepts and requirements
• Comprehensive understanding of full front to back IT infrastructure,
• Proven analytical skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into their core components
