The Commercial Finance Analyst will be responsible for providing detailed financial reports and analysis to key departments across the business.

Description

The Commercial Finance Analyst will be responsible for:

• Preparation and analysis of results on a weekly basis, consistently challenging and providing solutions for anomalies.
• Preparation and entering of journals on a monthly basis
• Ensure all pricing is up to date and maintained with subsequent analysis
• Supporting business units with the key preparation and tracking of budgets and forecasts.
• Ensuring the continued improvement of systems and processes
• Aged analysis of accruals for commercial spend.
• Improve and streamline the reporting process, responsible for producing reports on trends to Commercial finance colleagues to support the business processes.
• Support the Finance Business Partner and Head of Commercial Finance with ad hoc budget and forecasting
• Develop and maintain strong Business Partnering support to business units, providing proactive support and ideas
• P&L preparation and robust challenge of assumptions for new product launches.

Profile

The successful candidate for the Commercial Finance Analyst will be:

• Actively pursuing their ACCA/CIMA studies
• Previous experience within an FMCG environment would be advantageous but not a necessity
• A strong working knowledge of Excel and systems; Cognos would be an advantage
• A self-starter who will bring a proactive approach to the role
• Confident in working closely with key stakeholders across the different business units
