What does the job involve?

As a Finance Analyst, you will work within the Performance, Insights & Analysis (PIA) team and will be a business partner for our commercial colleagues across the business. You will gain exposure to different business units covering both Private Label & Branded ranges.

Business Evaluations include providing financial input & analysis of short/medium term risks and opportunities. Completing and interpreting investment proposal workings within the business teams to support decision to maximise return on investment. Delivery of effective promotional evaluation of key commercial activities. Support & partner stakeholders in developing business plans and evaluations, tenders, new business wins and CAPEX business case development.

Planning forecasting business performance & setting of medium/long term targets/plans. Analysis and validation of baseline trended forecasts. Partnering with commercial stakeholders to evaluate and validate opportunities, risks within forecast, budget, and longer term plans.

Performance Management of sales & profitability reporting and analysis for key stakeholders, supporting the Commercial Accountant to understand key drivers of performance and challenge to drive action. Measure the performance of the business against targets set and ensure adequate controls are in place and followed. Maintain relevant category, brand and customer brand knowledge. Provide financial insights which influence decision making and prioritization, by analyzing trends, interpreting financial information and problem solving.

You will get involved in lots of other projects too, whilst living the Kerry Values every day. This role means you’ll need to engage & influence the wider business teams so you will need a high degree of relevant business knowledge. And of course, you will need to build a cross function network internally.

What skills and experience are we looking for?

For this role we are ideally looking for you to be studying towards or qualified with a CIMA or ACCA professional qualification and have experience in a financial, analytical role.

It goes without saying that strong interpersonal and relationship building skills go a long way in our business, so you'll need to demonstrate this through our process. If you've got experience in an FMCG or manufacturing business - great - but you have to understand commercial finance and be a real team player. You should also be able to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiently.
