Finance Director

The Finance Director will be reporting to the Group CFO and will largely be responsible for the creation and maintenance of a Reporting and business Analytics platform to optimise performance. The role will be responsible for developing the team locally as well as internationally whilst also serving as the key point of contact internally and externally for project-related matters.

The client is a well known Luxury Real Estate developer whose focus lies in the high end real estate market as well as urban infrastructure and high end hospitality. Having been responsible for a number of the most recognisable developments of the past few years the group has no plans of slowing down with further investment and a number of projects in initial or kick-off phases both within Vietnam and very soon overseas as well.

Their vision is dedicated to a human-centric approach, sustainability and technology with an uncompromising attitude towards the quality of their work. The core team is located in HCMC directing projects across Vietnam and Asia Pacific.

Description

Responsibilities include:

• The creation and maintenance of a purpose-built Reporting and business Analytics platform to measure and track stakeholder performance against KPI's
• Providing business leadership with accurate and insightful data to optimise decision making process at the lowest financial cost to the business thus delivering sustainable growth for the organisation
• Work closely with and business partner the other heads of departments
• Develop and manage the Project Development Financial Modelling function
• Support the Business Financial Planning and Budget
• Support Finance with Financial reporting and analysis on all projects and OPEX

Profile

The successful candidate will have had considerable experience in a Corporate Finance environment. Experience with Fund Raising and Investment (ideally in a Real Estate context) is highly beneficial to this role. Real Estate experience is highly sought after by the client, ideally from larger developers ($3 Billion USD+). The successful candidate must also have the capability to mobilise in markets outside of Vietnam.

An excellent grasp of English is essential for this position both written & verbal as well as all of the relevant qualifications - university & professional. The role requires a self-starter who will be proactive in their approach.

The successful candidate must also have a very strong capability with regards to Financial Dashboards, Business reporting, and Analytics. This is an essential requirement of the role so a proven track record of building a Finance system within a high value Real Estate Developer is highly advantageous.

The role is open to both candidates located in Vietnam or abroad.
