Our Financial Business Advice team is growing and is eagerly seeking a strategic and analytical Finance Business Partner to come on board! Here you'll have the critical responsibility for the banks expense and advice function, aligning the financial business plan to meet various project objectives. This role demands a high level of business partnering, analysis and advisory experience; as you will be supporting our critical CIO team.

Your responsibilities will include, and are not limited to; supporting month end, preparation of investment spend dashboard, review business cases, expense modelling, forecasting, and partnering with senior stakeholders to achieve ambitious but realistic outcomes.

What are you going to do? You'll be...

  • Owning and continuously improving the monthly expense forecasting process
  • Business partnering with various internal and external stakeholders; providing detailed challenge and advice (Deep dives, ad hoc requests and scenario analysis)
  • Participating in Business Case analysis and approval, as well as post implementation benefits realisation tracking and reporting
  • Supporting the business with financial modelling, ad hoc analysis, reporting, and forecasting. This will require you to have a strong understanding of the businesses key value drivers.
  • Providing ongoing regular deep dives on challenges and opportunities to facilitate strategic discussions with senior business leaders
  • Building driver based expense models to drive efficiency and transparency


What are we looking for? You'll have...
  • Demonstrated experience and a strong balance of project accounting and project management, ideally within financial services
  • Strong experience with financial modelling, forecasting and dealing with large data sets (Excel)
  • Confidence and an ability to have articulate and detailed discussions with senior level stakeholders
  • The ability to dissect information and present to the Executive committee
  • CA/ CPA / CFA certifications
  • Exemplary analytical and numerical skills
  • Strong communications skills
