An exciting opportunity has become available for an Assistant Accountant with 1-2 years' experience to join our Carbar's wholesale division - National Fleet Disposal. Carbar is a company experiencing extraordinary growth. The successful candidate will be an integral member in providing accurate, timely and relevant information within financial and management accounting.
This role will be working closely with our Financial Controller and CEO Carbar Wholesale to ensure smooth and efficient operations across the business from vehicle sales, technology and growth projects.
To be considered for this role candidates should be results focussed with a strong work ethic, have a high attention to detail and be able to work independently, but also collaboratively with the team and wider business.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
- Journal preparation and posting
- Assist with month-end close processes and reporting
- Journal preparation and posting
- Assisting in preparation of BAS
- Accounts Receivable
- Assist with Accounts Payable
- Bank Statements & Banking
- Providing administration support
The successful applicant will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Capability to work autonomously
