Bond Williams Accounting and Finance are recruiting a Tax Specialist for an established, dynamic firm of tax and business advisers based in Poole.
Reporting to a Senior Tax Manager and working as part of a dedicated tax team, you would have responsibility for: providing business and personal tax assistance to a wide range of clients including liaising with HMRC, providing VAT support and, depending on the level of tax experience, potentially have some involvement with advisory projects as well (company reorganisations, incorporations, liquidations, share restructures, residence and overseas tax implications, employee share schemes etc). You will need to maintain up to date tax knowledge, be able to build and develop client relationships and occasionally attending client networking events when these are next held.
You will need to be part or fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/ATT/CTA) with tax experience gained within a professional practice. Professional study would be expected to continue if part qualified but study support would be provided. Strong IT skills, particularly Excel, Sage and other accountancy packages are essential, together with first class communication skills and the desire to provide high quality client service. You will need to have your own transport and be prepared to travel to client premises on occasions. In return, a modern working environment is offered and good prospects.
