An exciting opportunity has arisen with a global Manufacturing firm for a Management Accountant with SAP experience to join their finance team to support a number of projects. This company are a market leader in their industry and are looking forward to future growth in 2021. They are investing in a new SAP system and consolidating their accounts function to Dukinfield. This role will be based on Covid Secure site in Dukinfield with some remote working.

Description

The Management Accountant role is initially a temporary role for 3 months which could be extended. Reporting to the Head of Finance you will have the opportunity to look after:

• Development & management of all aspects of financial performance metrics and audits, including budgets, estimates, rolling forecasts, expenses, assets, smart & score and relevant authorisations for payments & payroll.
• Management of all cash flow & banking in addition to reporting all forms of accounts data as required.
• Utilize Factory Master, Pegasus Opera, SAP, Microsoft and other software as appropriate to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of workload and site accounting.
• Responsible for booking in invoice receipts, reconciliation of supplier statements and supplier set up
• Agree and raise payments to suppliers via monthly BACS run, intercompany Payments and adhoc payment
• Upload purchase ledger invoices from ERP system to Finance System, and manage any Invoice querie
• Collate and submit monthly payroll to outsourced supplier and manage payslip distribution & any queries
• Manage non HMRC payroll deductions, any payment requests
• General ledger reconsiliation for credititors, debtors, payroll, invenetory, prepayments, accruals, fixed assests, month end closing, bugeting, MIS File, external audits ICS controls
• Additional duties as deemed necessary by the Financial controller to fulfil Company requirements

Profile

In order to apply for the role you should:

• Have used SAP system previously (essential)
• Have experience in preparing Management Accounts
• Have experience of Accounts Payable and General Ledger recs
• Be AAT Qualified/ACCA or CIMA Part Qualified or be Qualified by experience
• Be available to consider a temporary role initially
