Financial Analyst with VBA

Reporting to the Financial Controller/Head of Financial Services, the post holder will be responsible for financial analysis, automating reporting and supporting the management accounts teams

Description

The key responsibilities of the role include:

• To Automate financial reports
• To consolidate and analyse Financial data (budgets, spend data forecast) taking into account the company's business operational structure i.e. recharges, purchase orders, GRNI reporting etc.

• Assist in the provision of monthly statements and any other relevant financial information to departments and Cost Centre Managers within the agreed timescales, together with appropriate investigation and interpretation of significant budgetary variances or cost pressures with written narrative and advice.
• Provide support in the preparation, validation and reporting of management accounts within agreed deadlines. Providing ongoing continuous improvement and implementing reporting changes including automation of financial processes.
• To reconcile transactions across General Ledger accounts including stocks and Account Payable ledgers.
• To assist Cost Centre Managers with budget and forecast updates ensuring that the Finance budget system is kept up-to-date and is a reliable source of budget information.
• Increase efficiency and productivity by developing automated standard and ad-hoc reports analysing trends and business performance in line with the business requirements.
• To constantly review financial systems and procedures with the aim of making improvements
