The Position
You will join the APJC AWS Data Center Infrastructure team. In this role you will work with regional AWS leadership in Singapore to lead financial controllership of AWS Infrastructure and improve financial performance. The successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively, manage multiple and time sensitive deliverables across a highly matrixed organization, along with managing risks and opportunities. The individual will also possess strong business partnership skills and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders.

This role's responsibilities include:
• Serve as the key business partner working directly with regional AWS management and other internal stakeholders to drive business initiatives and identify, implement, and deliver key operational efficiencies. Supporting business partners at Amazon requires the ability to dissent, while building trust with your business partners.
• Monitor complex compliance with controls and systems, and developing new processes to support the fast-growing AWS business.
• Manage and develop the financial planning and analysis processes.
• Develop new metrics and analysis that drive budgeting, forecasting and business decisions.
• Be an integral member in the monthly financial close process and drive ad-hoc projects and analysis.
• Support ad-hoc requests and assist in various requests from senior management.
• Partner with procurement to drive costs out through negotiations and strategy
• Raise the bar on hiring, developing, and retaining the best talent to continue building our world class team of finance professional.

Basic Qualifications:
• BA/BS degree in finance, accounting, or related field and a minimum 7 years of finance experience, OR master's degree and 5 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Fluent in English
• Experience in financial modeling and reporting using Excel

Preferred Qualifications:
• Advanced modeling skills including advanced Excel skills
• Ability to work independently, partner cross-functionally, and be self-motivated.
• Highly organized with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to dive deep on ambiguous challenges and deliver actionable insight.
• Experience optimizing finance processes for speed, agility, and insight.
• Experience with SQL or business intelligence.
• Curious to learn and dive deep into complex new subjects quickly
• MBA preferred
