Finance Manager (Retail/FMCG)

The Company

Excellent opportunity to join an established brand within the Retail / FMCG industry. Poised with solid growth plans for the region, our client is seeking a Regional Finance Manager to be part of their team.

The Role

Reporting to the Regional Financial Controller, you will lead a team and be responsible for overseeing the finance function for the SEA region. You will be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of finance and accounting which includes month end closing, financial and management reporting, cashflow forecast, liaising with auditors as well as tax agents. You will liaise and review the work of the shared service centres as well as outsourced vendors and ensure accurate reporting. In addition, you will also lead in system implementation and process improvement projects within the organization.

Last but not least, you will also have the opportunity to be involved in setting up new overseas subsidiaries and businesses.

Your Profile

To be a successful candidate, you will be a Chartered Accountant with a degree in accountancy and at least 8 years of relevant experience of which 3 years in a managerial capacity. Experience within the retail or FMCG industry will be highly preferred. Prior experience in the setting up of overseas subsidiaries/legal entities will be an advantage.
