At the heart of this position is being jointly accountable for attaining the organizations strategic goals and operational plans to enable the organization to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the seniors that call this place home.

As Chief Financial Officer, CFO you will be responsible for managing the financial activities of this multi-site organization including AHS reporting requirements, annual reports, accountability reports for RN, LPN, RCA staffing levels, audit procedures, internal controls, adjusting entries, AR, AP cut-offs, budgeting and more.

The CFO will perform financial planning and handling of financial statements. The CFO will examine the weaknesses and strengths of the company's finances and recommend strategies for improvement including providing strategic advice so all financial planning is accurate. *CA / Chartered Account Preferred

This is an exciting opportunity to improve quality of care, patient safety and sustainability of health care delivery to our seniors living within residential care. As the new CFO, you will partner closely with the CEO to drive organizational change utilizing your skills and experience in finance, information systems, performance improvement and data management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• University degree or college diploma in Accounting, Commerce, or Business Management/Administration

• Professional designation: Chartered Accountant (preferred), or Certified Management Accountant

• 5 or more years of progressive financial responsibility

• Knowledge of federal and provincial legislation affecting seniors residential care (SL1,2,3,4)
