This is an up to 12 months maternity/ secondment cover contract, due to start end of February/ March

What You'll Do
  • You will be responsible for accurately recording and reporting for costs and general ledger activity, supporting the Finance Manager.
  • Perform month end reconciliations and post journals.
  • Support reporting requirements for submission to the US parent.
  • Supporting the submission of audit requests.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations - submissions required each month.
  • Support the Finance Manager in ad hocs tasks as required.
  • Liaise with the budget team to support forecasting of costs/ledger and balance sheet accounts.
  • Opportunity to support tax submissions.

  • Part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Demonstrate significant experience in an accounting function/month end reporting
  • High level of numeracy and accuracy is required to perform this role
  • You will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with team members at various levels, including business leaders

Extra Points for any of the Following
  • Working for a large US corporation
  • Knowledge of US GAAP accounting/cost accounting
  • Can work independently across different legal entities.
