About the team
The Deloitte Global Cybersecurity function is responsible for enhancing data protection, standardising and securing critical infrastructure, and gaining cyber visibility through security operations centres. The Cybersecurity organization delivers a comprehensive set of security services to Deloitte's global network of firms around the globe.

What will your typical day look like?

You will conduct analysis and report on data collected by the Data Enforcement platforms and collect requests from member firms to determine and plan effective use of Data Enforce Services. You will determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats, including design and governance review. You will design new programs by analysing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities and writing specifications. You will also:

  • Recommend controls by identifying problems and writing improved procedures.
  • Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions.
  • Maintain system protocols by writing and updating procedures; prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

You have strong relationship management, negotiation, and influencing skills. You have excellent written and verbal communication, and good analytical/problem solving ability. You have strong attention to detail. You are a creative and independent thinker with the ability to translate business and technical requirements and challenges to leadership. You have knowledge of configuration management practices and procedures. You have an understanding of security systems' policy design and implementation, to translate business and client security needs into policy controls to mitigate risk.

You also have the following:
  • Around 4+ years' experience in applications development and/or operations in the security field, including system management and design.
  • Strong understanding of security architectures, Active Directory, RBAC and least priviledge.
  • Experience with security policy (e.g. Proxy, CASB, DLP, firewall, IDS) design, implementation, review and optimization.


Preferably you have PMP and/or cloud security certifications (but not mandatory). CASB functional/technical knowledge and business analysis also advantageous but not essential.
