We're looking for someone special, someone to share our passion of creating better spaces and futures - could it be you? We have a permanent vacancy for an experienced Senior Business Analyst, to join us in our busy IT department, a team who support 2,000+ colleagues within our business.

What's my new mission?

Working specifically within the Business Enterprise Team you will be developing and supporting software solutions that reflect the current and future needs of Marshalls. This will include, building relationships with internal customers and understanding their IT and systems requirements.

You will manage the full project lifecycle from initial business case to final business sign off. Working with the Enterprise Architecture Board to assess 3rd party solutions as well as with developers to define high-level designs that satisfy both technical and functional requirements.

Proactively, you can work with the business to simplify and standardise processes as well as overseeing effective software and integration testing.

You will deliver solutions by leading project teams, creating and communicating project plans to manage projects and support workloads effectively whilst also mentoring team members.

We currently have a number of exciting projects to consider, including, a new ERP strategy to implement Dynamics D365, a review of dynamic transport planning and a potential implementation of a warehouse management solution.

What are the mission skills?
  • In depth ERP experience
  • Ideally Microsoft D365 and/or Microsoft Dynamics-AX experience
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience performing a Business Analyst role in an IT environment
  • A "Customer Service" approach with the ability to deal with all levels of the business
  • Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
  • Excellent analytical and organisational skills
  • An understanding and enthusiasm for technology and design
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to lead teams and influence business decisions
  • A driving license and willing to travel to UK sites when required - We are currently working under revised operations to keep both our colleagues and clients safe and will continue to follow COVID-19 guidelines until further notice.
  • You need to be based within a commutable distance (Approximately within 2 hours) from our office in Halifax, West Yorkshire and commit to working a minimum of 1 -2 days from the office on a weekly basis under COVID guidelines.

In addition, if you have the following experiences that would be great!

  • Agile and/or Prince Project Management qualifications / experience
  • SQL technical experience
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing or logistics business
  • Educated to degree level and/or professional qualifications
