In this role, you will provide hands on project support to the Consumer Health Separation Finance team who are involved in the separation of Consumer Health business unit from GSK. This role is a fantastic opportunity to work on high profile projects at the heart of GSK and gain exposure to senior stakeholders within the finance organisation.

Your responsibilities:
  • Analysis and deep dive of consultancy, professional fees and other material costs associated with Separation, Integration and other projects
  • Intercompany Agreement Form (IAF) analysis and preparation of cross-charges via IAF to multiple global entities on a monthly basis to ensure costs are charged to the correct workstream cost centres
  • Review of Transitional Services agreement (TSA) expenditure with the core TSA workstream to ensure TSA costs are charged to the correct TSA cost centres and adjustments made.
  • Preparation of monthly Accruals and costs reclassifications for Separations, Pfizer TSA, Global Support Functions (GSF) and other Bison Product code reclassification reclasses.
  • Supporting Finance Business Partner with monthly project cross-charges.
  • Liaising with Procure to Pay on project invoice queries associated with consultancy and professional fees for Separation and Project Cosmos.
  • Supporting Project Director with Statement of Work (SOW) analysis
  • Supporting project Finance team with Adhoc analysis.
  • Supporting Integration Tech Finance project team with month-end activities.
  • Supporting Divestment Finance team with month-end activities other adhoc analysis.
  • Supporting with PO requisitions specifically for the large project spends including Consultancy and Professional fees, to ensure governance process is followed via Consulting Approval Form (CAF) and SOW.
  • Supporting with continuous delivery of Faster better close.


Basic qualifications:
  • Part qualified accountant (CIMA /ACA/ ACCA)
  • Experienced with ERP systems (SAP, CERPS or equivalent)
  • Strong communication capabilities with the ability to explain financial terms and concepts to a non-financial stakeholder group
  • Experience dealing with senior stakeholders
  • Pro-active attitude and a flexible approach to work
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and willing to adapt to change as needed
  • Month end reporting experience
  • Strong forecasting and budgeting experience
  • Prior experience in a Financial Analyst or Business Analyst position
  • Strong excel skills
  • Prior experience in a large, complex organisation


Preferred qualifications:
  • Prior experience with Bison
  • Experienced in Power BI
