The Global Consumer Bank Sector Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) - Long Term Planning team supports the Global Consumer Bank (GCB) CFO in running the GCB Plan and CCAR processes. The group works closely with all the business/regional Finance, Business and Risk teams across the Globe.
As an integral member of the team, this position supports planning and analysis for the Global Consumer Banking (GCB) from a global consolidated perspective. The FP&A Senior Lead Analyst (SVP) position will have responsibility for helping coordinate the FP&A processes with all stakeholders (Business, Finance and Risk) as well as analyze and give insight to the results to GCB CFO/CEO. This is a high exposure role to senior finance leadership.

As an integral member of the team, this position supports planning and analysis for the Global Consumer Banking (GCB) from a global consolidated perspective. The FP&A Senior Lead Analyst (SVP) position will have responsibility for helping coordinate the FP&A processes with all stakeholders (Business, Finance and Risk) as well as analyze and give insight to the results to GCB CFO/CEO. This is a high exposure role to senior finance leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help coordinate the overall processes for Long Term Planning (Plan/MYF/CCAR) with all stakeholders
- Provide support to GCB CFO and GCB FP&A Head in terms of analysis, review materials and insights
- Act as a single point of contact (SME team) for all of GCB Finance and Corporate FP&A
- Coordinate the deliverables and messaging with Corporate FP&A
- Produce any materials or analysis for reviews
- Drive the communication of timelines and deliverables to all key stakeholders
- Analyze results and lead further deep dives with the businesses
- Ensure proper review and adequacy of financial projections
- Produce any ad-hoc analytics to support senior management reviews
Requirements:
- Hands-on, financial thought-leadership
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- Good communication skills to interface with the NY and global teams
- Good team engagement and stakeholder management
Skills:
- 8+ years of relevant FP&A experience
- Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or related discipline
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and, preferably, integration with Access database
- Deep knowledge of PowerPoint and ability to create outstanding presentations using the tool. Ability to translate complex financial schedules into meaningful presentations that will support decision making
- Demonstrated analytical skills including the ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data to draw conclusions and assist on decision making
- Understanding of financial and managerial accounting for bank products (accrual products, investment). Knowledge of corporate finance concepts
- Strong analytical skills to conduct first level financial analysis.
- Highly proficient excel skills to be able to work with large data sets and complex formulas
