Senior Financial Analyst
This position reports to the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis and will be responsible for supporting the overall FP&A function of the organization. The Senior / Lead Financial Analyst will assist with the annual planning and forecasting cycles, identifying business drivers and measuring performance against expectations. The position will perform analysis and scenario modeling to assist management in understanding risks and opportunities to target, while using business intelligence tools to visually represent data in support of actionable insights. This role will also be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements throughout the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists in the financial planning processes for the company by developing a deep understanding of the underlying business drivers (i.e. industry trends and volume patterns, market, customer & product mix, cost/price drivers, etc.) to support annual operating plans, forecasts, and strategic decisions.
Perform variance analysis of monthly / quarterly / annual financial results including explanations of variances and insightful action items and recommendations for improvement.
Develop, enhance, and maintain management, operational and ad–hoc reporting packages using Power BI and advanced Excel and PPT skills, with focus on customer/product profitability, operating cost drivers, and organizational KPIs.
Continuously scrub data sources, transaction flows and logic to improve integrity, accuracy, and precision of reporting.
Provide general support and financial analysis to the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis, with significant exposure to the CFO and Global Controller.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Bachelor of Science in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Quantitative Analysis, or related discipline required; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
5+ years of progressively increasing financial and analytical responsibilities and experience.
3+ years of experience leading or directly supporting annual operating plans/budgets, monthly/quarterly forecasting, and strategic planning.
Advanced quantitative modeling in excel.
Strong experience with visual data representation tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
Ability to understand and articulate financial impact of business decisions.
Ability to complete tasks expeditiously, professionally, and with minimal oversight.
Comfortability and proficiency with new/evolving systems and tools (e.g. ERP, reporting software, inventory management, etc.)
Must be highly regarded for integrity, flexibility, teamwork, and interpersonal/communication/storytelling abilities.
Experience with Microsoft AX and/or Dynamics 365 a plus.
