Working in a Government department in the Cairns CBD, this position has been created to support the Audit Function of a highly governed business function.
Your new role
This is a Part Time, 6 months contract position with 2 staff reporting (Risk & Audit). The role will create Audit plans and prepare and execute these plans across the organisation to ensure the ongoing adhere and process execution of process and financial control. Working across complex and multiple business functions, you will engage with a range of stakeholders and work with managers to improve process and review audit results.
What you'll need to succeed
We are seeking an experienced Audit professional who is keen to commit to a part time contract here in Cairns. You will be organised and practical in terms of planning and a strong technical accountant with a professional background in financial planning and reporting.
What you'll get in return
This is an AO8 level position commencing Mid January and is due to run for a 6 month period. The hours are part time and flexible around your personal requirements.
