Description
AnnieMac Home Mortgage is looking to hire a Full Time Accounting Manager to be responsible for overseeing Accounting for AnnieMac affiliate Companies and supervising Accounts Payable. Under the direct supervision of the Comptroller and Vice President of Accounting, the job responsibilities of the Accounting Manager position include, but are not limited, to the following:
- Perform daily accounting and monthly closing activities encompassing Annie Mac affiliate Businesses. These activities would include routine daily, weekly, monthly general ledger entries and data imports;
- Summarize and explain financial results to management;
- Monthly and annual account reconciliations as assigned;
- Supervision and review of accounts payable ensuring proper posting across multiple companies;
- Responsible for performance management and review of assigned staff;
- Creation and maintenance of various accounting-related support schedules;
- Annual prep work for year-end and audit;
- Assist Comptroller with any and all projects.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years accounting experience;
- Mortgage or Insurance industry experience preferred;
- Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel, Outlook;
- Knowledge of GAAP necessary and experience with bank recs, journal entries, computerized accounting software, and accounts payable;
- Attention to detail with high level of efficiency and accuracy;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
