Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
- Planning, coordinating and executing the setups of SKUs for SaaS and Perpetual products based on the business needs
- Contribute towards Documentation of different processes
- Become a Subject Matter Expert in in the Order-to-cash process
- Creation and maintenance of Rate Cards and Price Books for Offers/Products
- Execution of Automated Setup and Testing suites for SaaS and Perpetual products
- Handling pricing related queries from VMware internal and external stakeholders
- Engage in Requirements gathering, Testing & Roll-out activities of various pricing projects and initiatives.
- Work in liaison with globally spread out team members and other functional teams such as Deal Desk, Revenue, IT Support teams, etc. as required for deliverables
- Proactively Recommend and drive improvements to existing processes and practices.
- Drive Root Cause Analysis for SKU/Price issues and provide solutions
- Participate actively in process standardization and system enhancement initiatives
- Front-Ending/Managing/Resolving issues and escalations
- Establishing procedures and process flows for the execution of operational task and ensure team's compliance to the same
- Flexible to work in shifts during quarter end and month end timeliness
Preferred Work Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience in an Enterprise Software setup / Technology company
- Exposure to Business processes of different routes to market (Channel, OEMs, etc.)
- Possess good understanding of common business processes in Finance & Marketing for SaaS and Perpetual products (Ex: SKU and Price Setups, Local Currency and Discounting, Quoting, Booking, Renewals, etc.)
