About Mishipay:

MishiPay ( https://mishipay.com/ ) was founded in 2015 by Mustafa Khanwala ( /in ) and Tanvi Bhardwaj ( /in ), bringing the best of the online checkout experience to physical stores.

We do this with our Scan, Pay and Go experience. Using our native apps on Android or iOS, or our web app available on Chrome or Safari, customers scan the products they wish to buy in store using their own phone and pay instantly. This eradicates the need to wait in line or touch store hardware. The current Covid-19 crisis has given us another mission to keep retail staff safe whilst giving shoppers the confidence to return to High Streets and malls.

As the world's leading Scan and Go provider as a third party application into retailers' stores, we work with some of the world's largest retailers including names like MUJI, Eroski, Dufry, Spar, Londis, Decathlon, and many others. The Mission

The Mishipay team is looking for a smart, driven Technical Business Analyst to help progress our solution. Being a member of the delivery team, this role will interface with product managers, engineers, operations, and user experience designers to solve exciting challenges.

About You

Please note that we cannot consider your application if you do not have the following:

• Technical BA Experience in mobile applications and an understanding of software development. We absolutely cannot accept any applications from candidates without mobile experience.

• BA experience within a Startup OR within a significantly scaling SME/Unicorn business with a high volume of transactions. Only the following sectors will be considered - ecommerce, retail or Fintech/SaaS
• An Engineering degree
• Fluent English, spoken and written

You'll also have experience of Agile development teams to successfully deliver enterprise software products (ERP) and/or helping customer and internal systems to integrate seamlessly. You'll be able to converse easily and fluently with our retail customers, in order to facilitate a smooth product launch and delivery.

As part of your role, you will:

• Be a leader, backlog owner, and end-user expert for a cross-functional Agile team of developers, quality assurance, and UX designers
• Interact with product managers, internal subject matter experts, and customer end-users to understand and define the key problems, requirements, workflows, and define solutions
• Create detailed use cases, supporting functional requirements, workflows, user stories and acceptance criteria
• Work closely with User Experience designers to develop & approve user experience flows & designs
• Work closely with our development team in an Agile environment to refine, prioritize and support the development, testing and release of functionality
• Support and lead key internal cross-functional activities necessary for successful product release
• Collaborate with Product Manager on complex business requirements and designs
• Support customer feedback sessions, preparing presentations and engaging end users effectively to define innovative solutions
• Create presentations & demos to help train internal teams & educate customer users on new functionality
• Evangelize the product, serving as a point of contact & product expert for internal teams & external customers
• Engage with customers, product end-users, product managers, and internal subject matter experts to understand the key requirements and workflows for Mishipay app.

Your Competencies

As well as your technical knowledge and mobile application background and approach mentioned above, you'll also have experience of:

• Working in an agile delivery team & providing support for issue resolution of production applications
• In depth understanding of the various software development approaches (Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall)
• Defining functionality and managing a story backlog using the Agile methodology and tools
• Gathering customer and market requirements into an actionable product plans
• Strong understanding of basic software development, user experience and database design, risk and security guidelines, and architecture standards
• Superior analytical, problem-solving, quantitative, and critical thinking abilities
• Highly organised with skills to plan and prioritise tasks to meet objectives
• Strong attention to detail to ensure features are functionally complete & meet user experience criteria
• Ability to quickly troubleshoot problems that may arise in products
• Passion for creating customer value through innovative technology solutions
• Strong skills to lead collaboration and effectively communicate product vision and business value
