Our client, is seeking a Finance Manager to join their finance team in Toronto. They offer a competitive compensation package, and a great work environment.
The role:
- Preparation and filling of HST returns
- Preparation and filling of WSIB returns
- Preparation and filling of EHT returns
- Online payment of weekly payroll taxes
- Preparation of bi-weekly Cash flow forecast spreadsheets
- Posting GL journals for monthly financial reporting: bank, taxes, other cash movements
- Bank reconciliations
- Schedule preparation and online payments of Corporate tax instalments
- Covenant reporting for the bank
- Corporate credit card and gas card management
- Daily cash management, movement of funds
- Preparation of wire payments for raw materials purchases
- Management of owners credit cards and money movements
- Internal audits of field offices - finance related tasks and processes
- Assisting in review of cheques prior to their passage onto the CEO for signature.
The Ideal Candidate
- Must be proficient in MS Excel
- A bachelors degree is required
