Experienced Bookkeeper

Experienced Bookkeeper / Accountant required to join a leading accountancy practice based in Bury. The scope of the role will offer you a varied and interesting mix of both workload and clients with no two days being the same.

The company will offer a Study Support package on top of the annual salary plus company benefits. Salary is negotiable and competitive dependent upon the level of Practice experience.

This role would certainly suit an individual who thrives from having a varied workload in an accountancy practice that has been commended for their service.

The practice provides a wide range of solutions for SME's and also offers a very customised and personal, client centric service. Due to expansion the opportunity has arisen for an AAT or Part Qualified Bookkeeper / Accountant to join this accountancy firm.

About the role as an Accountancy Practice Bookkeeper, you will be performing hands on bookkeeping, preparing and submitting VAT returns and preparing management accounts for a varied client base. Duties including:

• Reconciling sales & purchase ledger invoices, receipts and payments
• Keeping clients up to date with their business's performance
• Preparing VAT returns
• Preparing invoices for the Inland Revenue
• Checking company bank statements
• 2 years' Bookkeeping experience within an Accountancy Practice is essential
• Experience with Sage, Xero or other cloud software is highly desirable
• AAT Bookkeeping qualification or Part Qualified ACCA / ACA would be great
