Roessel Joy has partnered with a well respected Non Profit organization in the South End looking to bring on an Accounting Manager. This is a temp to hire opportunity. This person would be working on a small accounting team and would be responsible for month end close, preparing and reviewing journal entries and preparing monthly financial statements. Ideal opportunity to work for a non profit with room for internal growth.

The main responsibilities of the Accounting Manager are:
- Full-cycle accounts payable processing
- Accounts receivable functions including billing, collections, and cash application
- Prepares and review journal entries, reconciles ledger accounts and ensures compliance with GAAP
- General ledger maintenance, book journal entries and close the books on a monthly basis
- Monthly financial reporting including a statement of cash flows, balance sheet, and profit & loss reports
- Manage the Company's corporate credit cards and related reconciliations
- Assist with all forecasting and modeling for the CFO
- Assist in maintaining and reconciling payroll
- Assist with any other projects as needed
The main qualifications of the Accounting Manager:
- Bachelors degree in accounting or finance required
- 3+ years of non profit accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks a plus
- Strong organizational skills
