RESPONSIBILITIES

The company serves as a strategic control tower for its group of companies in various industries in Asia. The group's diversified business areas include investment management, real estate development, trading, hospitality, and high-tech product development & production for online entertainment platform.

Responsibilities
  • Accountable for the development and coordination of the group's internal auditing activities, covering all subsidiaries in the group.
  • Effectively manage a team of auditors and ensure strong cooperation & working relationship with counterparts in the group.
  • Develop and implement internal auditing policies, procedures, and program.
  • Review of accounting procedures.
  • Survey functions and activities in assigned areas to determine the nature of operations, and adequacy of the system of control to achieve established objectives.
  • Supervise or conduct independent audits of financial records and activities, and prepare varied analyses of the departments, and branches for management.
  • Supervise, conduct, and report on the testing and adequacy of the firm's internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Investigate and determine causes of irregularities, and errors.
  • Recommend corrective action and suggest improvement.
  • Advise top management on audit, and internal control matters.
  • Other duties assigned by the top management / the board.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree / diploma in Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of proven experience in a similar capacity from auditing / commercial platforms.
  • CPA / CIA is highly advantageous.
  • Independent and self-driven
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Good command of English and Mandarin is a must for better internal & external communication.
