We are inviting applications for the role of SA, Accounting Analyst

Prepare profit and loss statements and other financial reports. Responsibilities also include analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.
Responsibilities
  • Support month-end, Quarterly and year-end closing process
  • Preparing and Posting of Journal entries.
  • Preparing Account Reconciliation on monthly.
  • Review of General Ledger and Balance Sheet
  • Document financial transactions by entering account information
  • Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options
  • Summarize current financial status by collecting information and Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents
  • Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
  • Guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
  • Secure financial information by completing database backups
  • Verify, allocate, post and reconcile transactions
  • Produce accurate accounting reports and present their results
  • Analyze financial information and summarise financial status
  • Provide technical support and advice on management
  • Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
  • Prepare financial documents and produce budget according to schedule
  • Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
  • Contribute to a strong client relationship through positive interactions with client personnel
  • Communicate with Manager and/or Controllership team on work status and client issues that arise
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.com) and experience in the Finance and Accounting field. Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Perform a variety of tasks. Work under general supervision.
  • Bachelor of Commerce graduate degree or Post Graduate (M.Com)
Preferred qualifications
  • Functional knowledge of SAP and Oracle Finance (Centerpiece)
  • Ability to work under pressure and willing to stretch during monthly, quarterly and year end closing time.
  • Effective probing skills and analyzing / understanding skills
  • Problem solving skills with customer centric approach with good interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail.
