Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare the payroll for all library staff.
- Prepare termination and manual payments on an ad hoc basis.
- Responsible for reconciliation of superannuation payments for employee son a fortnightly basis.
- Process the payroll for all pay groups on a fortnightly basis ensuring gross, taxation and banking amounts balance before net wages are remitted to employee bank accounts.
- Maintain, audit, confirm all time, costings, exceptions and leave entitlement records.
- Responsible for periodic payroll deductions and on call leave registers.
- Responsible for accurate, master file batch and update entries, data input from all relevant sources, to ensure council's employees are accurately paid, and all payroll entries are costed correctly to respective cost account codes
Key Qualifications:
- 5 years' payroll experience
- Large ERP system exposure advantageous
- Knowledge of processes, including superannuation and terminations
- Proven ability to work in a team environment
