A fast-growth scale-up fintech SAAS business is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join their growing and ambitious team.
Financials & growth:
- Recently closed their Series C, raising a substantial amount in funding.

The Role:
- Key role in the month end process:
- - Reconciling fixed assets, payroll journals, accruals, prepayments, reporting.
- Assisting the FA with project accounting across multiple entities & locations:
- - Revenue recognition, project profitability etc.
- Overall responsibility for the GL:
- - Ensuring accurate coding on P&L, balance sheet, variance analysis reviews.
- Key role in weekly and monthly departmental reporting.
- Ad hoc assistance with credit control.
- Management of timesheets for company projects across multiple entities in EMEA, reconciling with the HR system.
- Submit quarterly VAT returns, EC sales lists, and other ad hoc compliance filings.
- Help to prepare the business for audit on an annual basis.
- Liaising with the external auditors & tax advisors.
What you need:
- Experience within a fintech or SAAS business.
- Must have experience with project accounting.
- International & multi-currency experience.
- Desirable: experience using Netsuite.
- Month end experience, VAT returns experience.
- ACCA, ACA or CIMA part-qualified.
